STL Linehaul
Our History
The business was originally founded in 1956 by Snow Pearson and set up with a rural focus, with the name Stock Transporters Ltd. Over the next sixty-plus years, the business progressed from a rural service to general and specialist freight work. With a changing market the word ‘stock’ had to be dropped and the name was changed to STL Linehaul.
Brothers Shane and Robert were the second chapter taking over the business from their father Snow. Two Pearson generations and six and a half decades later, a new ownership group took over this long-established business and with fresh energy, advanced business skills, experience and high-level professionalism, look to improve and amplify STL’s service offering.
